Standard samples

Several standard samples used by the Facility, along with their concentrations, masses and number of moles in 5 and 1.7 mm tubes, are listed below.

Spectra recorded using these samples and the Facility's standard parameters are available on both our instruments. If you know how much sample you have you can use these spectra as a guide to how long your experiment should take. If you don't know how much material you have, you can estimate it by comparing spectra recorded on your sample with the spectra recorded on the standard samples.

The column "Expno" refers to the experiment number under the experiment name where you can find the spectrum. For example, "/home/nmrsu/Data/UCSD_1H/3" will have a 1D 1H spectrum of the o-dichlorobenzene sample, while "/home/nmrsu/Data/UCSD_13C_HSQC_PRESAT/2" will have a 1H-13C HSQC spectrum with presaturation of the sucrose sample.
