The NMR Facility is located in the basement of the Pharmaceutical Sciences Building. Access to the elevators and stairs in the building is restricted. Call the Facility from the lobby and someone will come up to let you in.

Directions
The NMR Facility is located in the basement of the Pharmaceutical Sciences Building, which is on the corner of Biomedical Sciences Way and Pharmacy Lane. The easiest way to reach the building is to enter the south side of campus on Gilman Avenue from La Jolla Village Drive and turn right onto Biomedical Sciences Way at the first set of lights. The Pharmaceutical Sciences Building is on the right.

Loading
The south end of the Pharmaceutical Sciences Building has a loading dock suitable for trucks with a lift gate. There are two 20 minute loading spaces amongst the reserved MRI parking spaces on the south side of Biomedical Sciences Way just before Pharmacy Lane. At the south end of the Pharmaceutical Sciences Building amongst the handicaped parking near the steps up to the rear of the Biomedical Research Facility II there is another 20 minute loading space.
Parking
Parking anywhere on campus requires a permit. The UCSD visitor parking page has information on types of permits, their costs and parking locations.
The South Parking Structure is the closest parking structure to the NMR Facility. It is on the southeast corner of Gilman Drive and Biomedical Sciences Way. There is an entrance on Gilman Drive. When you enter from Gilman Drive there are some free parking spaces available so that you can pick up a permit from the Office.
Parking spaces for A permit holders (faculty) are available in the lot on the north side of Biomedical Sciences Way next to the Biomedical Library (Lot P610).
There are 38 visitor parking spaces at the east end of Biomedical Sciences Way (Lot P603). A permit vending machine is located amongst them. There is a three hour limit in this lot.
Other nearby parking lots in order of distance are Lot P602 (5 min walk), and Gilman Parking Structure (7 min walk, covered parking but more expensive).
