User notes

These pages offer a collection of hopefully useful directions and tips on how to operate the Skaggs NMRs, as well as some collections of data and tools that may prove useful. The commands on these pages are specific to Bruker spectrometers but the underlying concepts should be the same for all NMR spectrometers.

If you would like to see something added or have any comments on the existing content please let us know.

NMR Facility blog

The blog at sopnmr.blogspot.com discusses practical aspects of NMR, with particular emphasis on education and the type of work people use the facility for.

Standard text for manuscripts

Some examples of standard text that can be included in manuscripts. If you used a different temperature don't forget to change it in your text. If you need to include more details about specific experiments we would be happy to write something for you.

Experimental

For bma600
NMR spectra were collected at 298 K on a 600 MHz Bruker Avance III spectrometer fitted with a 5 mm triple resonance cryoprobe with z-axis gradients.

For npa600
NMR spectra were collected at 298 K on a 600 MHz Bruker Avance III spectrometer fitted with a 1.7 mm triple resonance cryoprobe with z-axis gradients.

Acknowledgments

NMR spectra were collected at the UCSD Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences NMR Facility.
